1. Certification
The training is according to JAR – FCL 1.
Our flight school is approved as flight training organization (CZ / FTO - 014).

2. Location
We are located in the Czech Republic, in the heart of Europe.
Our country is a member of JAA and the European Union.
If you come from other member state of the European Union you do not need a visa.Coming from other states you will need to speak to your embassy for the correct visa for which we can provide an Invitation letter.
We have two bases, one in Prague,the capital of the Czech Republic the other is in Brno, the second biggest city in the Czech Republic.
3. What do I need to start the training?
To start your training you will need the right visa, health or travel insurance, proof of identity and diploma or certificate of your highest finished education so we can also open your bank account with you as soon as possible.
We will also apply for your Medical as soon as possible which you will need to be able to fly solo. The cost of medical is 6.500 CZK (around 230 EUR).
4. When can I start?
You can start your course at any time you would like.
5. What planes do you use?
We can offer three levels of aircraft for primary training, time building, IR, CPL, multi engine training and simulator FNTP II.Our fleet consists of Cessna 152, Cessna 172 RG, Piper PA-38 Tomahawk, Piper Archer III, Cirrus SR20-G2, Let L-200 Morava, Piper Seneca II, Diamond Twin Star, Simulator ATR 42 FNTP II.
6. What simulator do you use?
We use Simulator ATR 42 FNTP II. Cockpit fully corresponds to modern aircraft.
Simulator ATR 42 is very effectively used for MCC training. Based on FNTP II certificate it is possible to perform basic IR training.
7. What materials do you provide?
All high quality studying materials are provided by the Flying Academy but for your individual studying we highly recommend a computer, preferably a laptop.
Other materials which you will use in our Flying Academy are:
- large classrooms with projectors and computers and internet connection
- on-line question bank
- video materials
- aviation library
- interactive educational materials
8. How much does it costs?
You can pay in regular installments so there will be always enough funds to cover your training.
We will set up internet access as MY FBO where you can check everyday your expenditure and how much exactly everything cost so you can plan ahead.
The cost of CPL multi-engine IR is 37.000 EUR plus 19% VAT which you could as a foreigner claim back.
Exchange rate: 1 EUR = 28 CZK.
9. Accommodation
Flying Academy has housing available to fit everyone‘s taste and budget. Short-term and long-term accommodations are available. For a long term accommodation we offer furnished apartments with kitchen. The size of the apartment is determined by the number of trainees interested. \
On average good accommodation costs about 13 000,- CZK/month.
A hotel type accommodation is also available and it might be more practical for short term stays.
Our staff can assist you with finding your own place or sharing an apartment with other students to help keep costs to a minimum.
10. Car hire
We can also help you with your car hire to suit to your budget.
